PDC Order of Merit
The World Matchplay is a PDC major held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool every July, played entirely in a legs format with no sets. Founded in 1994, it is known for the intensity of its head-to-head matchplay.

The top 16 on the PDC Order of Merit qualify automatically, with the remaining 16 spots awarded via the Pro Tour Order of Merit from January to June 2026. The 32-player draw is one of the most prestigious in darts.
