MENSUR SULJOVIC

Mensur Suljovic, born 7 May 1981 in Vienna, Austria, turned professional in 2003 and built a career that established him as the greatest Austrian player in the history of the PDC. His nickname “The Gentle” reflects his quiet demeanor on stage, which stands in contrast to the precision of his scoring.

Suljovic has amassed 8 PDC titles and recorded 5 perfect nine-darters. His biggest title came at the European Championship 2017, where he defeated Gary Anderson in the final — a landmark result that placed Austria firmly on the professional darts map. He has ranked consistently inside the world’s top 16 during his peak years, competing at multiple PDC World Championships and performing well on the European Tour.

He walks on to “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. Suljovic’s game is built on methodical scoring and high accuracy under pressure.
