Darts Nerd offers no reader account, comments or newsletter: we only collect the data described below.

Data we collect

• Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 measures page views, visit length, device type and the approximate origin of visitors. IP addresses are neither logged nor stored by Google Analytics 4.
• Technical logs: our server and Cloudflare record the IP address, the requested page and the browser, for site security and troubleshooting.
• Messages: if you write to us, we keep your email address and your message to reply.

Purposes and legal bases

Audience measurement tells us which content is read so we can improve the site; you can refuse it at any time from the cookie policy. Technical logs rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the site. Messages are processed to answer your request.

Recipients and transfers

Your data is never sold. It is processed by our providers: Google (audience measurement), DigitalOcean (hosting) and Cloudflare (delivery and security). As these companies are based in the United States, transfers are covered by the safeguards of the GDPR, notably the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Retention periods

Detailed audience measurement data is kept for at most 14 months in Google Analytics. Technical logs are kept as long as needed for site security. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise it, write to [email protected]. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
