Ryan Joyce

Ryan Joyce, born on 20 September 1985 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, is a well-established PDC professional known as “The Pipes”. Walking on to Tetris by Doctor P, Joyce turned professional in 2006 and has accumulated two PDC titles across a career built on solidity and competitive experience in the north of England’s vibrant darts scene.

Joyce’s career has been defined by consistent professionalism on the PDC circuit, competing regularly across ProTour and ranking events over nearly two decades. Newcastle Upon Tyne has a strong darts heritage, and Joyce has embodied that tradition throughout his career. Without a recorded nine-dart finish, his game relies on a structured, disciplined approach to scoring and checkout that has proven sufficient to claim two PDC titles.

As one of the north of England’s most recognisable professional players, Joyce has contributed to the regional identity of PDC darts. His longevity on the circuit since 2006 is a testament to the professional standards he has maintained, and his two titles reflect a player who has delivered when it mattered most.
