World Grand Prix format
The World Grand Prix features 32 players: the top 16 in the PDC World Rankings, who are seeded, play against the top 16 non-qualified players from the one-year PDC Pro Tour rankings in the first round.
It is the only tournament on the PDC calendar played in double-in, double-out format: each player must start a leg by hitting a double or the bullseye, and finish it the same way. Matches are played in sets, each set over the best of 5 legs (first to 3), and the number of sets needed to win increases round by round: best of 3 sets in the first round, best of 5 sets in the second round and quarter-finals, best of 9 sets in the semi-finals, and best of 11 sets in the final.
Since 2021, the tournament has been held at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, England. The 2026 edition ran from 28 September to 4 October.
