Wesley Plaisier

Wesley Plaisier, born on 4 March 1990 in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands, is a consistent Dutch competitor on the PDC ProTour. A professional since 2008, Plaisier has built a steady career accumulating five titles across various ProTour events. His walk-on track Angels by Robbie Williams contrasts with the competitive tenacity he brings to the oche.

Plaisier’s longevity on the Dutch darts scene is notable given the fierce domestic competition from compatriots competing at the highest level. Without a recorded nine-dart finish, his game relies on controlled, structured scoring and a solid finishing percentage that has proven sufficient to win titles on the ProTour floor. His results since 2008 reflect a player who has steadily developed his craft over a long professional tenure.

Representing a country that consistently produces elite darts talent, Plaisier has held his own against formidable Dutch rivals. His five ProTour victories demonstrate that consistency and professionalism, rather than singular moments of brilliance, can forge a credible career at the highest level of the sport.
