PDC Development Tour Rankings 2025

PDC development circuit reserved for players under 23 years old. The Development Tour aims to nurture the next generation of professional players and prepare them for the main circuit.

The top two players on the final Development Tour Order of Merit who haven't already obtained a Tour Card earn a PDC Tour Card for 2027 and 2028. The Order of Merit leader also qualifies for the 2026 Grand Slam of Darts.

How does the PDC Development Tour 2026 ranking work?

The PDC Development Tour 2026 ranking accumulates points earned across Development Tour events, an entry-level circuit designed for under-18 players and those without a Tour Card. It acts as the gateway to the PDC professional ladder, giving emerging talents a structured, competitive environment where their results have real consequences for their future career.

Players who finish highest in the standings at the end of the 2026 season are awarded a PDC Tour Card for 2027–2028, granting access to Players Championship and European Tour events. Top performers also earn qualification spots for the Grand Slam of Darts. Unlike the professional Order of Merit which is prize-money driven, this ranking uses a points system specific to the Development Tour. It is updated after each event completed during the season.

  • Period: 2026 season (Development Tour events)
  • Calculation basis: Cumulative points from Development Tour events
  • Update frequency: After each Development Tour event
  • Role: PDC Tour Card 2027–2028 + Grand Slam of Darts qualification
