As of 10 October 2026, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) had not yet published the broadcast rights list for the 2027 World Darts Championship, which runs from 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 at Alexandra Palace in London. This guide sets out, country by country, what applied during the previous edition (2026, played over the 2025/26 season), flagged each time as a sourced precedent, not a confirmation for 2027, along with session times and how to follow results live if no broadcaster covers your country.
UK and Ireland: Sky Sports, the long-standing rights holder
In the UK and Ireland, the 2026 edition kicked off a new five-year broadcast deal between the PDC and Sky Sports, covering editions from 2026 through 2030. Of every market covered here, this is the one where continuity into the 2027 edition is best established: the multi-year deal covers it by construction, even though the PDC has not issued a dedicated announcement for this specific edition at the time of writing.
France: what channel for the 2027 World Darts Championship?
For the 2026 edition, French coverage was handled by L'Équipe. It is a free channel: it broadcasts on digital terrestrial television (channel 21), as well as on satellite, cable and IPTV, and also streams for free without a subscription on lequipe.fr. No other French broadcaster was listed for that edition.
The PDC has not republished a rights list specific to the 2027 edition: nothing rules out L'Équipe renewing its coverage, but this has not been officially confirmed for this particular season yet. We will update this section as soon as an official announcement is made.
Belgium: who broadcasts the 2027 PDC World Championship?
For the 2026 edition, the Belgian broadcaster on record was VTM, a Dutch-language (Flemish) channel; no French-language Belgian broadcaster (RTBF, RTL Belgium or otherwise) was identified for that edition. French-speaking darts fans in Belgium already had to rely, in 2026, on either a Dutch-language feed or the PDCTV stream described below.
No Belgian broadcaster, Flemish or French-language, has been announced for 2027 yet. Absent a dedicated deal, PDCTV remains the most reliable way to follow the tournament in Belgium.
Switzerland: what channel to follow the 2027 World Darts Championship?
In Switzerland, the 2026 edition was broadcast by DAZN, which covered Switzerland alongside Germany, Austria and Italy that same season. DAZN is a subscription streaming service, accessible without a satellite box or a dedicated decoder.
Again, the PDC has not confirmed to date that DAZN is renewing its Swiss rights for the 2027 edition; it is the most likely continuation given the regional deal already in place, but it is not a settled fact until an announcement is made.
International streaming: PDCTV and other options
For countries without a dedicated national broadcaster (which, in 2026, meant everywhere outside the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland), the PDC offers its own subscription streaming service, PDCTV, carrying every session of the tournament. Other national broadcasters also held 2026 rights: Viaplay in the Netherlands and the Nordic countries, Fox Sports in Australia, Peacock and FanDuel TV Extra in the United States, and beIN Sports in the Middle East and North Africa, among others. The full 2027 list is not published yet; PDCTV, the federation's own platform and independent of national deals, is the most likely option to carry over from one edition to the next.
Session times
The tournament runs two sessions a day for most of its length. During the 2026 edition, the afternoon session started at 12:30 GMT and the evening session at 19:00 GMT; the semi-finals started slightly later, at 19:30 GMT, and the final is played as a single evening session, at 20:00 GMT. The PDC has not yet published the session-by-session schedule for the 2027 edition, but this timing pattern has carried over from one edition to the next for several seasons and gives a solid planning reference. (For readers in continental Europe: these GMT times run one hour behind Central European Time, so a 19:00 GMT evening session starts at 20:00 CET.)
