Dennis “The Menace” Priestley holds a unique and historic place in professional darts as the first ever PDC World Champion, claiming the inaugural title in 1994 when the WDC breakaway from the BDO created a new professional era. A gruff, determined competitor from Yorkshire, Priestley combined powerful scoring with streetwise match play to overcome his opponents.
