The main PDC Order of Merit ranking, which ranks the top professional players according to their earnings over the past 24 months.
How does the PDC 2-Year Order of Merit work?
The PDC 2-Year Order of Merit is the PDC's flagship ranking. It accumulates all prize money earned by each player over a rolling 24-month period, across every official PDC event: the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, Premier League, Players Championship Finals, and the World Championship.
The mechanism is straightforward: the more prize money a player wins, the higher they climb in the Order of Merit. Rankings are updated after every official PDC tournament, meaning positions can shift multiple times in a single week during busy periods. Earnings from events held more than two years ago are automatically dropped, creating a natural rotation that rewards consistent recent form rather than past achievements alone. This ranking is the primary reference for Tour Card eligibility and direct seedings into major PDC events.
